Firefighter of the Year Award

Each year, the Firefighter of the Year award is presented to a firefighter that has shown exceptional conduct, involvement, contribution, and commitment to the CFD. Actions on a fire scene, continuous involvement in trainings and department activities, and many other types of actions have earned these firefighters this award. A proud tradition of the CFD, this award honors our members who have given their best for the good of friends and neighbors.

Fire Officer of the Year Award

Each year, the Fire Officer of the Year award is presented to the Fire Department Officer that exemplifies the mission of the CFD. The recipient is chosen in a vote by all Fire Department members. The recipient is chosen for demonstrating leadership, compassion, dedication, and unselfish acts in the field.
